This March offers all poker lovers a great variety of live poker tournaments on the territory of the UK and Ireland they can choose from. The third month of 2017 will see a great variety of tournaments kick off, offering various buy-ins and prize pools to the British and Irish players.
First, on February 26th, the 2017 edition of the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour – GUKPT Leg 2, Manchester started at the Grosvenor Casino Bury New Road. The tournament offers many satellites and events, and a Main Event which features a buy-in of £1,100 as well as a guaranteed prize pool estimated to £200,000. The GUKPT Leg 2 is to run until March 5th. March will also see the Leg 3 of the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour Series kick off on March 26th in Edinburgh to run until April 2nd at the Grosvenor Maybury Casino.
At the very beginning of the month, the inaugural PokerStars Live London Series is to kick off. The Series will be hosted at the Hippodrome Casino and will start on March 2nd to end a few days later, on March 5th.
Poker lovers will be also provided with the opportunity to take part in the Bristol Rainbow Poker Masters Series 16, which is to start on Friday, March 3rd with a £55 Buy-in No Limit Hold’em event featuring a £5,000 guaranteed prize pool. The Main Event of the series is to take place in two game days, offering a buy-in of £220 and a guaranteed prize pool estimated to £25,000. Then, on March 4th, the Saturday Poker Challenge is to take place at the Rendezvous Casino in Brighton.
Over the month, there will be four Grosvenor 25/25 Series on the territory of the UK. The first one of them is to run in the period between March 9th and March 12th. It will be hosted at the Grosvenor G Casino in Stockton, featuring one £220 No Limit Hold’em event. The next event will be hosted between March 16th and 19th at the Grosvenor Huddersfield Casino. Over the same period, there will be another 25/25 event at the Grosvenor Casino in Luton, followed by the one at the Grosvenor Casino in Bournemouth that is to kick off on March 23rd, to end a few days later, on March 26th.
Dublin will host a live poker tournament, the Celtic Poker Open, from March 10th to March 12th. The event will be a No Limit Hold’em one, with a buy-in of €250 and is to be hosted at the Green Isle Hotel.
Then, on March 11th and 12th the Amateur Poker Association & Tour (APAT) UK Team Poker Championship is to be held at the Grosvenor G Casino in Blackpool, offering one Main Event and one Side Event.
The Leg 3 of this year’s edition of the Genting Poker Series is to kick off on March 13th, offering a number of Satellites and events, including the £440 Main Event with a guaranteed prize pool of £100,000. The Series is to be held at the Genting Club Sheffield until March 19th. The UK and Ireland residents will be also given the chance to enjoy the Leg 4 and Leg 5 of the Series, which are to take place in Liverpool and Reading, respectively, they are kick off on the same date – March 27th. The one in Liverpool will be hosted at the Genting Club Queen Square (Circus Casino), and the one in Reading is to be held at the Genting Club Reading.
Also in March, from March 17th to 19th the Rendezvous Casino in Brighton is to host the Unibet UK Poker Tour 2017, which is to offer a two-day event featuring a guaranteed prize pool of £40,000. After that, on March 23rd, The Poker Room formerly known as The Vic is to see the beginning of The London Deepstack tournament.
Last, but not least, there will be one more live poker festival that is to start in March. Dublin’s Citywest Hotel is to host The Irish Poker Open Festival from March 27th to April 8th. Players will be provided with the change to choose from a large number of events to take part in.
